CORPORATE & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
AT PESTPLUS, WE ASPIRE TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT IS EXPECTED
At PestPlus, we endeavour to practice our day to day business in an ethical manner. We also aspire to go above and beyond what is expected of us in terms of industry guidelines, best practice, and legal requirements.
We have named our Corporate & Social Responsibility plan Bee fair. The first part of this name represents the biggest risk our industry puts on society (Pollinators). Although our industry has made significant improvements on effects it has on our planet, we believe we can set further examples of how we can go above and beyond.
The second part of the name reminds us of fairness and to conduct our business in a fair and ethical manner. Fairness to our employee’s, our customers, our suppliers, other stakeholders and to the environment.
As we move forward with various initiatives, we will communicate to our industry areas we feel we have or are making progress in.
Pest Control businesses have a responsibility to show a duty of care to the planet. By curtailing the use of pesticides and educating people on the dangers of pesticides we believe we can further spread the word about miss-use and over-use.
We have employed the services of an external auditor and will produce our Corporate & Social Responsibility report at the end of April 2021.
