The best indicator that you have a wasp’s nest in the proximity of your property is when you notice a constant presence and movement of wasps around a particular location. Studying their flight path for a few minutes may lead to the entry point of the nest. The nest is not always visible.
The nest can begin being little more than a golf ball in size to at its peak being well over the size of a beach ball.
PestPlus provides insecticidal treatments which safely eradicates wasps. This requires injecting insecticide into the nest and entrance. This proven method gets to work straight away by killing all wasps and making the nest redundant. Our preferred practice
is removal but there will be circumstances where we propose leaving the wasps nest in place as that may be a more efficient form of containment.
PestPlus works in partnership with a number of Beekeepers in Ireland who are equipped to safely remove beehives. Beehives are protected in Ireland. Wasps and bees do not carry disease; however, they are likely to sting in defence of their nests or when aggravated.
